![]() I use mounting tools to align my rings and the grooved rings would not line up correctly and the bases with the cross slots were dead on tip to tip on my tools.Enjoy you new gun guys. I tried both and it was not even close on accuracy. Better accuracy than using the grooves on the rifle. Get Weaver #12 or 15 bases only difference is height and Steel cross slot rings. Great practice ammo to keep your eye sharp.I use a 4X Simmons on my single shot Savage and and on my Marlin. One thing I do recommend on this gun. Perfect for revolver or bolt rifle though. They are loud in a pistol but not real loud.Do not try to cycle an auto with them as it will not work. You can shoot them anywhere as they make no sound hardly at all out of a rifle. How can they do that with just the primer being the power.I even shot it at 100 yards and you can hit a man size target ever shot but now they are just in the target no groups there.Im amazed it will go that far. What really amazed me is the Super Colibri has no powder just the primer with a 20gr bullet and it will shoot dead on at 25 and 1" at 50. 5 or better at 25-50 yards with a vice rest. ![]() Browning confirms dry-firing won't damage firing pins or chambers of its newer guns. Smith & Wesson says dry-firing can damage rimfires. Henry Repeating Arms says shooters can dry-fire its guns all they want. I have shot Aguila Super Colibri, Federal Valu Pak, Winchester shorts and they all will group. Ruger says dry-firing the company's 10/22 rifle will not damage it. I just keep getting amazed by the accuracy of this new XT22 Tube Fed Stainleess rifle.
